John Kekacs' 1930 Ford Sport Coupe was a real show stopper

 
John and Jean Kekacs' 1930 Ford Model "A" Sport Coupe John stands proudly next to his beautifully restored 'Tin Lizzy'

The car, according to Jean, was less than pristine when John brought it home. Jeans says "I told him when I first saw it, aren't we lucky." John and Jean stitched the interior seat and door panels themselves. 'It was no easy task", says Jean.

John found this old trunk dated inside with the year 1892. "They were going to throw it out", John said.  "I grabbed it and attached it to the back of the car." Those are the original drawings he found inside the trunk.

The original 1930 Flat-Head Four. John added the alternator you see in the photo (bottom left). "I had to add it", John told us. 'I like to drive it at night; you couldn't see the road before I installed it, the six volt headlamps were too dim by today's standards".
