The Make-A-Wish Foundation would like to invite you to celebrate their 30th anniversary of the "first wish" at the "Walk for Wishes and Police Parade" on Saturday, May 8, 2010. The event will take place at Jennings Beach in Fairfield. Police departments from all across the state of Connecticut are forming local teams and invite you to march with them in support of your town and the Make-A-Wish children who live there. Special events on that day will include a Kids Tent featuring face painting, crafts, bounce houses, good food, music, and much, much more. One of the highlights of the day will be a police car show featuring vintage police cruisers as well as today's modern police vehicles. So come experience a day of fun and family while making wishes come true for Connecticut children with life-threatening medical conditions.

On Saturday, February 27th, Porsche Of Fairfield, Connecticut played host to the first ever Make-A-Wish Police Parade Pep-Rally.		Make-A-Wish Foundation

Officer Ted Stockmon of the North Haven Police Department stands beside a pair of well dressed Quarterhorses, "Nightmare" and "Amigo" of the Bridgeport Mounted Patrol	Food, games and lots of fun for all who attended.

Fairfield Police Chief Dave Peck welcomes the crowd to Fairfield and acknowledged the many Police Chiefs who committed their departments and resources to the event.

Porsche of Fairfield General Manager John Resnick, hands over a donation check of $2,200.00 to Michael T Burke, Chief Executive Officer for the Connecticut Make-A-Wish Foundation.
