The Make-A-Wish Foundation would like to invite you to celebrate their 30th anniversary of the "first wish" at the "Walk for Wishes and Police Parade" on Saturday, May 8, 2010. The event will take place at Jennings Beach in Fairfield. Police departments from all across the state of Connecticut are forming local teams and invite you to march with them in support of your town and the Make-A-Wish children who live there. Special events on that day will include a Kids Tent featuring face painting, crafts, bounce houses, good food, music, and much, much more. One of the highlights of the day will be a police car show featuring vintage police cruisers as well as today's modern police vehicles. So come experience a day of fun and family while making wishes come true for Connecticut children with life-threatening medical conditions. |
